Two days back I had made Chicken Biryani. Actually like in North India I also used the long grain Basmati rice. It is also called Punjab Basmati rice. But down here in Kerala especially in Malabar they dont use those long variety of rice. Instead they use those tiny small grain rice for making biryani. As we all know Malappuram biryani or Malabar Biryani are very famous and mouth-watering. Today my wife had a EID party at her office. She brought parcel for us. I am putting a picture of Malabar biryani in comparison to the long grain biryani I made last Sunday.
