Two days for great Caribbean sailing with winds starting very slowly on the Saturday at 4 knots and steadily building to end the day at 13 knots, and then Sunday dawning with high seas and much stronger winds up to 19 knots, afforded all the racers something to challenge them, and to sort the wheat from the chaff. The final overall result came down the the line on the last race when the two contenders for first position were tie on points, and someone had to win, and it was a photo-finish! with Ari Barshi just tipping ahead of Kevin van Otterdijk by a couple of centimeters. The racing in all classes was ferocious and congratulations also to all the women who competed. Rhone Findlay managed to dominate the radial class, even posting impressive finishes against the heavy-weight Standard and Master classes, ending 9th overall in the fleet of 25. Carlos Palambo from Argentina won the Masters Class, and Ari Barshi from Dom Rep won the Standard Class. The full results are on the website: laserchamps
