Two days until we begin announcing classes & locations for Kurema. Im only half ready; we need more teachers & I need more sleep. But this event of peace & healing is the best infusion of strength for those of us who pick up the pieces of broken lives on a daily basis. I see all the budget deficits, all the needs we cant meet, and its hard to see the sun behind the clouds. But then theres that one offer to help that sends light cascading down to our weary faces, & joy permeates the circumstances again. To each of you who have promised your time & talent to this event, know how much your service means to so many. Our kids need us to restore some sense of promise to their lives, & we need you to take this journey with us for this special day.
