Two divers spotted this surgeonfish while diving the Blue Heron Bridge and reported it to Reef Environmental Education Foundation (REEF). The fish is invasive, natively found in the Indo-Pacific, and has been successfully removed. By removing the individual fish before they become a wide-scale invasion we can help protect our natural reef biodiversity. Citizen scientists are very important for paying attention to our natural environments!
