Two firsts in Quito today. Tye Short ate a soup with lung and intestine with a base that tasted like purred garlic snails. Two thumbs up. Then walking home we witnessed our first mugging. The poor lady had her necklace ripped from her. We didnt realize until the guy had sprinted past Tye. The lady was talking to Tye, he tried to console her but we couldnt do anything. Feels weird that in a flash one can be so vulnerable. A first for everything.
