Two new additions to our single origin, manually brewed coffee - TopicsExpress

Two new additions to our single origin, manually brewed coffee board: Buddy Brews Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Kochere and Guatemala Huehuetenango. So we now have two Ethiopia Yirgacheffes and two Brazil Cerrados, one each from Zeal and Buddy Brew. We suggest you try them all -- it highlights how much change there can be between different farms beans from the same region, and how roast profiles can bring out different flavors. For example, Buddy Brews Yirgacheffe is a tropical fruit bomb (banana, passionfruit, hibiscus, etc) with savory acidity aplenty, while Zeals Yirgacheffe has succulent peach, honey and chamomile tea flavors, with a more sedate acidity. Come try a pour over and see which flavors you can spot -- maybe youll taste something we didnt. Flavors can alter as the coffee cools, too. Its like a little adventure, taking a mundane day and adding a whole new sensory experience. Pro tip: try it black if you can to preserve nuanced flavors, even if you just take a couple sips before adding cream & sugar.
