Two ole country boys (I think they wuz from Coal Grove or parts near by) were out stompin around in the hills when they come upon a deeeeeep hole in the ground. It was so deep they couldnt see the bottom.... just a deep black hole. “Wonder how deep it is” one ofem said. “Dont recon I know “ says the other. “Well lets find something and throw it in and see how long it takes to hit the bottom”. Well they wuz looking around and found an automobile transmission. It was pretty heavy but the both of them got it to the edge of the hole and tossed it in. While they were awatching they heard some noise and looked up to see a goat come out of the bushes doing about 100 miles an hour. Well the goat didnt even slow down, just went head first down that deep hole. Well those two boys were standing there in wonderment went a local farmer came by. “Hey boys”, he said. “you seen an old goat around here?”. “Sure did” they said “ just seen a goat go by doing about 100 miles an hour”. The farmer says, “ couldnt been mine then cause I had mine tied up to an old transmission”.
