Two people I know have recently contacted me about yoga tips for panic attacks. Panic attacks led me to a yoga class when I was 15 and Ive kept the practice up since. I dont think there is any one yoga pose that is a quick fix for panic attacks but any mindful movement is beneficial. As my original yoga teacher (Lorraine Brady, Glasnevin) told me stress builds up in the body if its not released. In the same way, calm feelings can build up in the body too. Every time you meditate or do yoga practice, you are adding a log to the fire . So instead of doing 3 hours of yoga when youre anxious, do a few minutes a day to keep your system settled.
