Two phone calls. One, has been to mediation...horrendous, totally horrendous experience. The second, about to go in the not too distant future to mediation. What do they have in common... Children, young children the next generations that should be on the land. Both have not made business mistakes, their financiers have.(like so many others) Both are viable - both have equity and or good cash flow (like so many others) Both have been affected by drought, yet, have been able to press forward. (like so many others) Both have been denied funds from their financiers - and yet, both dug deeper to go on working and keep going against all the odds. (Like so many others) Both in the same State. Both have been mislead by their financiers - and have proof of wrong doings (like so many others). Both have multimillion dollar enterprises, yet are not big companies - they are family owned and run cattle properties. (like so many others) Both of these families have not told their stories publicly yet, and they have not been posted on this site yet (Like so many others) Both are angry, frustrated and cannot understand why reasonable solutions that benefit both are not accepted, (like so many others) Both have been attacked verbally by their financiers (like so many others) Both have been told one thing verbally, then when paperwork arrives it is nothing like what was discussed they have been mislead (Like so many others). Both are Australian Graziers - born and bred here. Both are frustrated and angry that when they have approached their representatives, and elected MPs State and Federal, no one cares, in fact mostly treat them with contempt. What dont they have in common? Different banks.
