Two posts in one night... I am on a roll! Last night Yvonne Sablan Light and I went down to the coast to hang with friends at the Imperial Palace Casino. Long story short, I played Texas Holdem poker and here is the story of the second best hand I have ever had (royal flush was the best). I had two Aces in my hand. The flop gave me another ace and I bet hard! The turn did nothing of consequence, but the river put a second queen on the table, giving me a full house, aces high, so I bet hard again, raising and re-raising. One guy re-raised me and I thought, Only one hand can beat me! and I kept going! (No possibility of a straight flush, so do you know what he had?) Sadly, he had that hand!!! Then two guys at the table started talking about the Bad Beat pot. It was currently worth over $25 THOUSAND! I got a little excited that my aces full of queens got beat if I was going to win the Bad Beat pot!!! Sadly, again, this casinos policy on the Bad Beat is broken quads (ask if you want an explanation), so I didnt win 25Gs, nor did I win the large pot. (Potty Thoughts - Yvonne didnt lose a penny last night, but she purchased a very expensive purse and wallet this morning instead)
