Two spiny dogfish tonight at Kelvin Grove!!! Check, check! We spotted the first one immediately after we dropped. The second one came over to investigate me about a quarter of the way through the dive. I was even lucky enough to give her a little nose rub before she took off! I guess this technically makes me a shark diver now. :D Jonathan spotted an octopus with a fist-sized mantle crawling about out in the open. Im not sure if it was Red Octopus or Giant Pacific Octopus, but one thing is certain--it was awesome! We were all fortunate enough to shake hands with our new friend. Bioluminescence, Plainfin Midshipman, Sailfin Sculpins, Giant Sculpins, Tom Cod, clouds of krill, Red Irish Lord, Clown Nudibranch, and so much more. What an amazing dive!
