Two weeks before Beth Beachy passed away Joyce and I had the opportunity to visit with her. We shared with her the words to the song My Way though yes we did change some of the words. After she passed we read these words during her funeral, as approved by Beth. She was 56 and a faithful child of God. So here are the changed words and also Elvis singing the song, MY WAY. So, you can read the words with Elvis singing in the background. :o) And now the end is near; And so She faced the final curtain. To friends and family dear; Ill state my case of which Im certain. She lived a life thats full; She traveled each and every highway. And more, much more than this; Beth did it Gods way. Regrets she had a few; But then again too few to mention. She did what God wanted her to; And yes, without much exception. God planned each charted course; Each careful step along the byway. And more, much more than this; Beth did it Gods way. Yes there were times Im sure you knew; When she bit off more than she could chew; But through it all if there was doubt; God stood by her within, without. She faced it all…Tho weak and small…and did it Gods way. She loved, she laughed and cried; She had her fill, not luck but blessing. And now as tears are dried. A heavenly home and theres no guessing. To think she did all that; And may I say not in a shy way. Oh no, oh no, not Beth; She did it Gods way.
