Two weeks from completing my final assignments at USC. I must say this has been a bitter-sweet journey. So many times I wanted to give up and asked myself why. Now, I have two assignments to complete and I will officially earn my MSW degree. If I had to do it over, I would endure the pains and agony over again. I have learned so much about society, poverty, injustice, politics, policies, social services and myself. I can go on and on about my expenditure. I am grateful and appreciate the staff at University of Southern California, Access Alaska, Fairbanks Native Association, Office of Childrens Services of Alaska for support during my academic progress. Thank you to my family and friends for putting up with me and accepting my neglect during this time period. I love you guys wholeheartedly. Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing my with a wonderful life, opportunity and the skills to grow and develop into the woman I am today. To my two sons, Devin Alexander and Antonio Johnson, thank you for all your support, understanding, encouragement, and love. I love you guys and very proud of the young men you are. Thank you Antonio for your services to our country and for my beloved grandson Jayden.
