Two weeks until the Calgary European Film Festival starts! Two weeks before the start of the Calgary European Film Festival (CEFF), the five European organizers announced the list of movies to be screened at the Globe Cinema, November 15-17. “Love building” (Romania) will open the event on Friday. The movie was just released on September 13, this year. The second day of CEFF will start with ‘’La cage dorée”/ “The Gilded Cage” (France, 2013), directed by Ruben Alves and described as a harmonious mixture of laughs and emotion. This is a golden comedy which you will not forget. (Pierre Vavasseur, Le Parisien). Sunday, “Mission London” (Bulgaria, 2010) will close the Festival. The movie is also a comedy, directed by Dimitar Mitovski and starring Alan Ford, Lee Nicholas Harris, and Ralph Brown. Poland and the Czech Republic will be represented this year by “Innocence”/ “Nevinnost” and “80 million” / “80 milionów” throughout the three day event. The Second Edition of the Calgary European Film Festival is organized through a partnership between Polish Canadian Cultural Centre, Czech Business Association of Canada (CBAC), Romanian Canadian Cultural Association of Calgary (RCCAC), Calgary Bulgarian Society (CBS), cIneMAGINE Society and Alliance Française de Calgary.
