Two years ago today Dan received donor bone marrow that saved his life. We sang happy birthday with our family over facetime and thanked God through our joyful tears. Two years ago was Day Zero in transplant lingo. It was the start of a 100 day high risk recovery period where we stayed in temporary housing near the transplant center so doctors could closely monitor Dans progress. Dan and I spent 100 glorious days truly, blissfully, and joyfully celebrating life. On day 102 we were discharged from Seattle, and then Dan spent 415 more days celebrating life until he passed away. On this bittersweet anniversary of the one of the most wonderful days of my life, please remember that life is a gift. Treasure it with all your heart. All will be well. Even though sometimes this is hard to tell, and the fight is just as frustrating as hell, all will be well. Gabe Dixon Band
