Two years ago today my daughter Alisha and her husband Cory gave me my sixth grandchild, a beautiful baby girl name Emily. The blessings of being a grandparent does not end with the first grandchild but continues with each precious life that that is placed in your hands!! H Clinton once said, it takes a village, I say, it takes family first to raise a child. It is with you my grandchildren the next generation to see that the youngest and the weakest among you are always taken care of. If you stand strong and look after each other you will not need the village you will become the village!!! SO as we all say Happy Birthday Emily, know that some day she will look up to all of you from both sides of the family to see that she is safe!!!!
