Two years ago today, this little nugget came into my life! I was just going to be her foster mom until we found her a fur-ever home. I was not planning on adopting her because I came up with every excuse in the book (no time, costs, etc). The list was long but then came the day that someone else took interest in her. I realized at that moment that i was a big foster failure! I filled out her adoption application soooo fast! My little itty bitty pitty Emmy became permanent family member! The old adage who rescued who is sooo true! She is my heart and soul! We added another rescue pup this summer and our home is finally complete! As I sit here this morning watching them on the couch (one snoring and one sleeping with one eye open in case that cat comes downstairs) I realize how full my life is! They bring a smiles to my face and warm my heart! If you are looking to add a furry friend this year, please consider fostering or adopting!
