Two years ago tonight, I went on a first date with a guy who had taken quite an interest in me. I was a bit reluctant but curious. We met at TGIFridays, had a great dinner, realized well into the date we had been talking for 4 hours and practically closed the place down. He walked me to my car, went in for a hug, and spilled my leftovers. As awkward as the moment was, it was sweet and innocent and he had my heart. And he got not just one hug that night but two! Weve been through a lot together in 2 years, good/bad and otherwise. But together we are better than alone. Together we can face what is ahead. Now, 2 years later, we will return to our first date spot as an engaged couple. We have found love, happiness, completeness together. There are silver linings. There are happy New Beginnings. I cant wait for the rest of our life together. God is good and faithful to those whos trust is in Him. Dave Geisler, I love you! New adventures await us!!
