Two years ago tonight, our precious nephew Henry left the arms of his mommy and daddy here on earth and entered the arms of our Heavenly Father in Glory. The physical ache in my heart is indescribable in how much he is missed. Im sure it is just a pinch in comparison to his mom, dad and Miri but he is missed. His big beautiful blue eyes, that contagious laugh, that old wise man sense about him, his interest in all things technology, the love he showed others. Everything about Henry is missed. His story has touched the lives of so many around the world and I am so thankful that Jess and Ian have the strength and bravery to continue to share their story in the midst of all of their pain. I wish he were still here, I wish so much that he were still here (i know selfish). However, knowing he is completely healed, basking in the glory of eternal life brings a peace without understanding and knowing that one day in just a short amount of time we will be with him forever. Henry was my first experience to be an Auntie, Stephen as an Uncle and Aidens as a cousin. There literally isnt a day that he is not talked about in our house. I pray for every single person that misses him, that has supported the family and sent encouraging words, prayers, gifts, thoughts. These actions have been the hands that have carried us through this storm. There will always be a piece missing...although I dont believe time heals it certainly can help bring peace and little by little we are able to move forward. I dont know if we will ever fully heal because this will never be a norm that Henry is no longer here on Earth. These are just a few of the memories we have with him...we love you, we miss you so so so so much and we celebrate you, we cry for you absence, we laugh at the memories and we hug each other tight in the dark hours. Henry, you are still and forever missed to infinity and beyyyyoooond
