Two years ago when I found out I had advanced stage 4 breast cancer, I didnt seem to have a future. The prognosis was dire - of women diagnosed at my stage, half of them would die in 3.6 months. Yet here I am, almost two years on, sunning myself, feeling well, living my life. In some ways it doesnt seem fair does it? So many other people have a very different outcome. I have learned so much and desperately want to share it. There seems to be a real need - people contact me all the time to ask for advice. Also the stars are horrendous. Your lifetime risk if getting cancer is 1 in 3. By 2020 that will be 1 in 2!!!!!!! That is why I am writing my second book - How to be a Cancer Maverick. This will explain what to do if youre diagnosed with cancer. I will explain in detail the lifestyle and habits which are keeping me alive and well. And if they do that for me, imagine how powerful they are as preventative measures!
