Two young women moved into the part of my apartment complex where I live. They must be in their early twenties. I enjoy hearing young voices coming in and out at night and I enjoy their almost silent but friendly little dog. They seem so tiny even though I think that they are taller than I am. I rarely see my neighbours even though there are six apartments in this little section of the complex. When you are old, you come to think of most people as young and one feels protective of them and hopeful that they thrive. We need to think more about flourishing than we seem typically to do.
