Türkvizyon Song Contest (Turkish: Türkvizyon Dünyası Şarki Yarışması), also known as Turkvision Song Contest in English, is an annual song contest created by Turkish broadcaster TRT, inspired by the format of the Eurovision Song Contest. The first edition took place in Eskişehir, Turkey. The semi-final was held on the 19 December 2013, with the grand final taking place on the 21 December 2013. Countries and regions from Turkish speaking and Turkic ethnicity are eligible to participate in the song contest. This year Bulgaria made its debut at the contest with Ismail Matev as the representative.
