U/13s SCORES: Tungamah 36 def Katamatite 5 AWARDS: Dominos-Illa Crawford, McDonalds-Jorjia Kruse The girls hit the mark today right from the very start. The first half saw Chloe and Ella working well together from the centre which resulted in strong passes to our shooters Illa and Olivia H who converted most of their shots at goals, into goals. Katamatite tried hard and when the ball did turn around, Sarah, Erica and Abbey were there blocking them. Great pressure girls. There were changes to the team in the second half, and it took a few minutes for the girls to warm up. Our midcourt of Abbey Lee and Emma read each other brilliantly with strong passes and made their opponents chase them. Olivia G had her turn in shooting goals which she was able to do. Some changes in our defence gave Georgia and Jorjia a chance to defend the ball when it came their way. Girls, you played extremely well today. Your passes were strong and you thought about where your team mates were positioned before just throwing the ball. Great pressure throughout the entire game.
