U GOIN’ DOWN? One of my great takeaways from our recent trip to Nepal was that even though our final destination was UP and HIGH. I quickly realized that we must often go DOWN…WHAT? Yes, you incline for long periods of time, to then decline. This was very frustrating for me, especially since I was gettin’ my butt kicked on the trail. Don’t believe me? Ask ANY of my teammates! It’s funny now…not so funny in the mist. Sound familiar? You have be destined or purposed to something higher, which means in your journey to the higher place…you will have times where you MUST go down. Don’t worry! You’re still headed to the top and on the right path. U GOING DOWN is just part of the journey! So embrace the moments of pure frustration. I didn’t say you had to enjoy them, but welcome and expect them. How we get to the top is just as IMPORTANT as reaching the top!
