U.S. Boy’s Tennis Foundation Launches $100-million campaign to change the future of U.S. Men’s Tennis, January 30, 2014 at the Westshore Yacht Club. Tampa, Florida January 28, 2014 U.S. Boy’s Tennis Foundation, a Florida-based non-profit, is launching its 2014 campaign in Tampa, January 30, 2014. The Foundation’s goal is $100-million raised, which will translate in to the first organized system for U.S. Boys Tennis, ages 10 – 14, including the construction of a dedicated state-of-the-art Tennis Training Facility in Florida by 2016. “While International boy’s tennis players are sponsored by their home countries in their junior years there is no such program in the U.S. and we intend to change that thus changing the future of men’s tennis in the U.S.,” states Ms. Kata Bower, Executive Director. She continues, “Our branding is exciting, we are U.S. Boys Tennis Nation and we’re running with it. And our companion WEB TV Network, which will be made up of TV Channels and TV Shows initially for boys, is named U.S. Boys Tennis Nation TV Network, OnNowTV/9148. Utilizing a combination of media, technology and entertainment with its WEB Television Network, WEB Channel Reporters via a new app, corporate sponsors, and texting to support the initiative on the world’s first full-spectrum WEB TV Platform, the Foundation is confident it will reach and exceed its $100- million goal. Karl Miller, Chairman of the Board of Neah Energy, the Foundation’s first corporate sponsor agrees. “For the first time in years, there are no U.S. Men Tennis Players in the Top 10 global ranking. The only U.S. Men’s player ranked in the top 50 in the World is John Isner, currently ranked number 13. This downfall in U.S. Men’s Tennis is exactly why the U.S. Boy’s Tennis Foundation was established and why we’ve become the first corporate sponsor.” The first city of a series of fundraising events scheduled throughout the Southeast is Tampa, hosted by the Foundation at the Westshore Yacht Club, Bay Club Room 7pm – 9pm. The January 30, 2014 evening fund-raising mixer hopes to raise $100,000 to fund education and training of the first qualified boys. The MC for the evening event is Jenn Holloway, seasoned news anchor, currently hosting “Our Issues Tampa Bay” and “Health Matters” seen weekly on Great 38 TV.
