U.S. Corporations have invested $240 Billion already in Vietnam. They are eager to have the Trans Pacific Partnership signed and approved in order to ensure they can import goods made abroad into the USA without tariffs. In other words, this money sent abroad occurred after closing factories and laying off American workers, who lost their benefits after 26 months and who probably lost their houses, because no other factory sprung up in their small town.
