*U14 Championship* CLG BnaG 4-7 Red Hughs 3-4 A great win for the boys last night in a gripping encounter at Moyle Park. Red Hughs started much stronger and were very economical in front of goal with their full forward in ruthless form. CLG BnaG had the lion’s share of possession but missed too many chances. Two goals in the first half gave Red Hughs a commanding 6 point lead. CLG BnaG started the second half in fine form with excellent scores from the surging runs of centre half back Conor McHugh. Red Hughs failed to live with the pace of the Milford attacks with Gerard McAteer in scintillating form on the left hand side of the attack. Na Galloglaighs two man full forward line of Daire Crossan and Niall Trearty were posing real threats to the Red Hughs defence. The game swung on two key moments, the harsh sending off of the Red Hughs full back and a crucial goal from Niall "Bosco" Trearty after great work from McAteer down the left. Milford got themselves in front and completed an impressive 9 point turnaround winning by 3 points in the end. An excellent win for the boys but plenty of work to be done on the training ground before a semi final clash
