UBE/SUBEB PROJECT AND THE STATE OF OSUN... It is one thing for the FGN to counterpart funding a project, it is another thing for the State Government to contribute and monitor the execution of the project to a successful end. Even as at date, there are some states in Nigeria, who are yet to draw their UBE fund coz they have not made available their states contributions. Some governors even collect their UBE money and embark on white elephant projects and in the process siphon the money through many excuses. If Aregbesola is able to execute a joint fund project, lets give it to him, after all, he has passed where many has failed. When Oyinlola started the Osun State University, he was acknowledged to have done a good job. Let us all be fair enough to give our leaders their due recognition when and where they do well. Objectivity is trait of the logical minds only. But rapid dogs bark in thousands... But where are the manifestos of these political parties? The contents should be the issues of political discussions and social discourses, and not mundane matters about Y did this and X did that. What is the need for any stubborn iniquity about an already executed project? No one is condemning the UBE/SUBEB PROJECT as being poorly executed by the Aregbesola ! Lets ask for our future and leave the past to history. Where do we go from here? Your guess is as good as mine - provided we share the same progressive political views.
