UCFs Institute for Simulation and Trainings NASAgOE Lab is currently in need of several volunteer undergraduates interested in team dynamics or Industrial/Organizational Psychology to serve as research assistants. The ultimate goal of the study is to guide understanding regarding important individual and team characteristics necessary for successful long duration space exploration. It is a very interesting project and we were hoping to find motivated undergraduates that would help us with data collection and other tasks. Key responsibilities will include: * Serving as experimenters in research studies * Conducting literature reviews * Recruiting Participants * Data entry, transcription, and analysis * Development of their own research ideas that can be presented at conferences, class projects, etc. (based on capabilities) * Aiding in the maintenance of existing research studies In return for your assistance, we are happy to write recommendation letters for hard working RAs who volunteer for 2 semesters that would like to go on to graduate school. Additionally, time will be put aside for RAs if they want to meet face to face with a graduate student to discuss current issues in I/O psychology, get advice for getting into I/O graduate programs or jobs in the I/O field, and facilitate the development of student led research projects (including Honors in the Major) projects that RAs will be working on are related to teamwork, creativity, adaptation, simulation-based training and other training issues. We request that RAs volunteer a minimum of 10 hours per week for the Spring semester. The schedule is a set schedule that will remain the same for the rest of the semester. There is no preference for availability; RAs are needed at all times during the week. Anyone who is interested can email resume, availability, and degree audit for an interview to Christina Lacerenza at [email protected]. Thank you in advance for your application! NASAgOE Team
