UCL RESEARCH Student LOOKING FOR semi-pro/professional/teaching TAP DANCERS My name is Vivien Koh. Im currently doing my MSc Performing Arts Medicine at University College London (UCL). As part of my coursework, Im conducting a research project looking at Joint Position Sense in performing artists, in particular, tap dancers and pianists. ? Testing will take place on 22th or 29th March at the BAPAM clinic in central London near Chancery Lane station and will take about an hour of your time. Test procedures include a basic questionnaire and 3 Joint Position Sense test. None of the test are invasive and at no point should it cause any pain or discomfort. There are no monetary benefits for taking part in this study. However, you would be helping to contribute to a current scarce of knowledge in the Performing Arts Medicine field, and you get a free test of your Joint Positions Sense, which is highly important to all performing artist!
