UET CELEBRATES 68th INDEPENDENCE DAY LAHORE (14th August, 2014) The University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore celebrated 68th Independence Day on 14th August, 2014 in the Seminar Hall of Chemical Engineering Department with enthusiasm and fervor. The day started with special thanks giving prayers for prosperity of Pakistan in the Jamia Mosque of the university. Vice-Chancellor, Lt. Gen. (R) Muhammad Akram Khan was the chief guest at National Flag hoisting ceremony. Prof. Dr. Abdul Star Shakir Senior Dean Civil Engineering, Prof. Dr. Zubair A.
