UGANDA NATIONAL ANTHEM O, Uganda, may God up hold three, We lay our future in thy hands. United free for liberty Together well always stand. O, Uganda, the land of freedom, Our love and labour we give, And with neighbours all At our countrys call, In peace and friendship well live. O, Uganda the landa that feeds us By sun and fertile soil grown For our own dear land Well always stand The pearl of Africas Crown. Members of (UAH) do Uganda need to change the National Anthem in order to make the citizen Love their Nation as #Alex Mukulu proposed? In March, 2014 a meeting was held in Kampala with Professors of music in East African Universities including Makerere, Diplomat, Ugandan Lawyers, Alex Mukulus Team, and asome of Ugandan Mps. The meeting was to seek advise from the professors whether there is a need to change the Uganda National Anthem. The professors asked any one of them to sing the three stanzer parts non of them tried! And the professors concluded by tell them to rethink about the ignorance, the welfair of people and social services. They noted that people will be proud of their Nation if the Leaders are proud of their people. The meeting ended up when the professors were called to state house to meet the president. However, some of the Mps, Lawyers and Mukulu team felt ignoble! The professors agreed not to meet the president until the team gets all the citens views of this issue. For God and my Country.
