UGANDAN ADS THAT SUCK (...AND THOSE THAT DONT): I have been assigned to put together a write-up of sorts on this topic. Advertising, for the most part, involves creativity, use of language, imagery, wit, research and intelligence. It is for this reason that I turn to you folks (seriously). Please take a few minutes off (or the whole bloody day if you can) to list some ads from 2014 that really sucked for you, or blew your minds. You may also mention WHY the ad evoked that reaction from you. Oh, the scope of ad platform is limitless: radio, TV, print, digital, web, and even ads that were scribbled on someones arse count (the ad, not the arse). Ad agency employees who seek to try and sneak in silly ads onto the list of ads that blew our minds will be hunted down and defenestrated No, Ojigbani Kojo, I dont mean you...well, not specifically.
