#UGANDAN REFUGEE CHALLENGES HIS DEPORTATION A Ugandan refugee who has been denied asylum in Botswana, has taken government to court over his deportation. Peter Muganga has approached the high court seeking additional review of the decision not to grant him refugee status. Muganga, who has been in Botswana for more than a decade, says he fears for his life if he is deported back to his country. The former rebel has been remanded in prison pending a high court ruling.
