UHURU, BE AWARE OF US MACHINATIONS Recently, we have been treated to a series of events that have brought Kenyas President Uhuru Kenyatta together with his US counterpart, one Barrack Obama, signifying the thawing of hostile relations between the two. I however urge Mr Kenyatta to be wary while transacting business with the US. He shouldnt forget that they are the backstabbers who bite and kiss away the pain; they are responsible for putting guns in the wrong hands to topple Governments they deem to be anti-US. Look at Gaddafi. He dropped his guard shortly after hosting Mr Obama. You all know what happened and continue to happen in Libya. By the time she finds her footing, her oil will be gone and poverty will be grinding her citizens. So much for a country which, a few years ago, boasted of being the only one with no international debt. Even as Kenya seeks to engage herself in business with the US, caution should be exercised for you never know when America might want a piece of our Turkana oil.
