Dry with warm sunshine for Spain and Portugal. The Balearics, Corsica and Sardinia are also dry and sunny. Fair weather extends across most of central Europe under the influence of high pressure. Feeling warm in France, particularly in the west with extensive sunshine. More cloud toward the north of France. Dry for Switzerland and Austria. Dry also for Germany and the Czech Republic, although patches of fog and low cloud may linger. Fine for northern Italy, but showers may persist in the south of Italy and the southern Balkan states. Unsettled in Greece and Turkey with heavy thundery rain. Cool but dry in eastern Europe. Dry but cloudy for Denmark. Cloudy in Norway, and drizzly rain arrives from the south-west late in the day. Dry and bright in Sweden. Breezy in the north of Scandinavia, with frequent wintry showers. Sunshine in Finland. Friday Increasing cloud across Portugal today, with patchy rain arriving from the west later. It remains fine and very warm for Spain, the Balearics and France. Plenty of dry weather continues to extend across central Europe, although there may be a lot of cloud across Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic. Some sunshine for Belgium and the Netherlands may extend into western Germany. Variable cloud for Switzerland and Austria. Sunshine for northern Italy, although again showers may affect the far south of Italy. Scattered thunderstorms again for Greece Turkey and Cyprus, with some heavy and slow moving areas of rain. Cloudy and damp for Denmark, southern Norway and Sweden. Bright and cool in northern Scandinavia. Cool also in eastern Europe.
