UKIP supporters need to have a good, hard look at the kind of people to whom whom theyre giving their allegiance. - Not only for a homophobic candidate who calls his prospective constituents peasants - Not only for successfully alienating one of the most discredited cash-in-brown-envelope politicians ever to darken the doorstep of the Tory party (for which the bar of political morality is hardly set high!) - Not only having a leader (a supposed moderate by his partys standards) who blames everything up to and including traffic jams on the M4 on immigrants... But a party which twists and turns with any kind of excuse, each more implausible than its predecessor, for each ignominy of its representatives. Im incredulous that their media apology for their candidate Kerry Smith casting wholesale insults on his electorate is that he was on sedatives. If they had any genuine regret, why didnt they just say they didnt realise he was an utter twatt? bbc.in/134lj8Y
