ULBRIGHT VISITING SCHOLAR PROGRAM FOR 2014-2015 The U.S. Embassy in Belarus is pleased to announce the 2013 annual competition for the Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program for the 2014-2015 academic year. For more information on the program and the online application, please click here: The Fulbright Program in Belarus, administered by the U.S. Embassy’s Public Affairs Section, places Belarusian academics in U.S. universities to do research for a period of 4 to 9 months. Those chosen will receive scholarships from the U.S. Government to cover international airfare and living expenses in the U.S. The Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program awards non-degree grants to university lecturers, or experts in different fields who possess good English and have a kandidaskaya or doctoral degree. Participants are chosen by a competitive process, which includes an online application, a peer review of the proposed project plan, and an interview by the Public Affairs Officer.
