UMN Student Chapter of MJF (Minnesota Justice Foundation) is happy - TopicsExpress

UMN Student Chapter of MJF (Minnesota Justice Foundation) is happy to announce our annual Public Interest Clerkship (PIC) grant competition! PIC funds are raised by students, faculty, and other supporters throughout the year (remember the Silent Auction?), and are awarded to UMN law students for summer work with public interest legal service organizations. Applicants must submit a proposal including an agreement with a host organization and/or supervisor and a job description. Local projects are given preference, but PIC grants can also be awarded for national and international work. One grant of $4000 is available for a full-time proposal (400 hours of work over the summer), but part-time proposals will also be considered for a smaller award. If you are interested in applying, please notify Thom Hart ([email protected]) by THIS FRIDAY, March 14th. Applications will be distributed to interested students by email on Monday, March 17th. Completed applications are due on Wednesday, April 2nd. The selection process will be completed and all applicants will be notified of the results by Friday, April 11th.
