UMPH!!!! This just stinks!! Im usually a pretty cooperative patient...see Ive had a couple of these wrist fractures in the past. And if ya sit quiet let the people do their job--wearing a cast, well... its not so bad. See they usually leave a little spot between the thumb and pointer finger with just one quick swipe with the plaster/stuff leaving a weak spot that snaps oh so nicely...allowing the cast to accidently slip off while sleeping, working out, petting the dog....you get my drift...AND as long as its off, might as well scratch...wash....shower....run errands....etc...HOWEVER--I should have known I had met my match when this adorable little Physicians Asst. breezed in wearin her cute little camo and boots!!!! Pure EVIL I tell ya....her name was...........KELLI.........and she had skills!!! And although her camo was pink she didnt just wear it---she ROCKED that camo!!! She SWOOPED in and started casting my feeble wrist...all the while slinking that baby blue goo between my thumb and pointer finger... not once, or even twice....but THREE TIMES!!!! And then she POKED it....yep she poked it...at my wrist, thumb and again on my fore arm. Then she smoothed it down...oh so smooth so nobody can see those pokes OH YES ---my baby blue cast has CURVES---on the OUTside...but INSIDE....Ohhhh those evil pokes....and Im frustrated!!! I dont really have to wear this for a whole month do I.... :(
