UNAVAILING THE MINISTRY OF THE CROSS IS MY NEXT ASSIGNMENT.MANY DONT WANT TO TALK ABOUT THE CROSS.BECAUSE IT IS NOT ACCEPTED BY EVERY ONE.AND IT DOES NOT FIT IN TO OUR MODERN DAY CULTURAL LIFE STYLE. ...the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are saved it is the power of God. 1 Corinthians 1:18 THE CROSS,ONE INCIDENCE HAVE MANY ASPECTS WHO IS RIGHT ? 1.ROMANS TOOK IT AS PUNISHMENT OF SEDITION 1 Corinthians 2:14 The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit. Deuteronomy 21:22-23 22 “If a man has committed a sin worthy of death and he is put to death, and you hang him on a tree, 23 his corpse shall not hang all night on the tree, but you shall surely bury him on the same day (for he who is hanged is [a]accursed of God), so that you do not defile your land which the Lord your God gives you as an inheritance. 2.THE JEWS MADE IT AS A PUNISHMENT OF BLASPHEMY When the chief priests therefore and officers saw him, they cried out, saying, Crucify him, crucify him. The term the Son of Man occurs in Matthew 32 times, in Mark 15 times, in Luke 26 times, and in John 12 times. In the first three Gospels the title is always recorded as having been used by Christ of Himself and never by angel, by man, or by demon. Of the 12 occasions in John, 10 are from the lips of Christ; only twice was the expression used by men, and then only for criticism and unbelief: We have heard out of the law that the Christ lives forever: and why do you say, The Son of Man must be lifted up? Who is this Son of Man? Those are the only two occasions in all the Gospels where the term is found upon the lips of any but Christ. It is Christs own description of Himself, and it is the term that links Him to humanity and shows His intimate and positive relationship to the human race. 3.JESUS CONSIDER IT AS A BETRAYAL , KILLING AND A NEW COVENANT MATHEW 16:21 From that time [r]Jesus began to show His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised up on the third day. ROMANS 1;16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 1 CORINTHIANS 1:23-24,30 22 For indeed Jews ask for signs and Greeks search for wisdom; 23 but we preach Christ crucified, to Jews a stumbling block and to Gentiles foolishness, 24 but to those who are the called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. 30 But by His doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption, 1.THE CROSS IS THE WISDOM OF GOD TO BELIEVERS 2.THE CROSS IS THE POWER OF GOD TO BELIEVERS 3,THE CROSS IS THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD TO THE SAVED. 4.THE CROSS OF JESUS IS THE HOLINESS OF GOD TO THE SAVED. 5.THE CROSS IS THE REDEMPTION PLAN FOR THE LOST SOULS. THE TOMB IS EMPTY,THE CROSS OF JESUS AND THE BLOOD IS STILL WORKING.COME TO THE CROSS AND BE SAVED. TO THE LOST ONES THE CROSS OF JESUS IS FOOLISHNESS,POWERLESS,WEAK,BASELESS TO MAKE A PERSON WHAT WE CHRISTIANS HAVE BECOME. PLEASE GIVE THE CROSS A CHANCE.THE ONLY THING THAT CAN LEAD YOU TO HEAVEN IS THE CROSS.AND THE ONLY REASON WHY PEOPLE GO TO HELL IS THAT, THEY REUSED THE CROSS. ACCEPT THAT JESUS DIED ON THE CROSS FOR YOUR SIN.LIVE THE REST OF YOUR LIFE FOR THE CROSS AND HEAVEN WILL WELCOME YOU WITH SMILE.
