UNC concerned by proposed rally of Kuki Inpi Tahamzam, 3rd July, 2014 The United Naga Council (UNC) is deeply concerned by the proposed rally of the Kuki Inpi Manipur in selected places including Imphal capital on 4th July, 2014. The UNC in good faith strongly believes that opening old wounds and creating fresh hostilities is not the wish of anyone, be it the Kukis or the Nagas. The UNC strongly believes that justice for the victims, be it Kukis or Nagas, can be achieved only when the quest for such is underpinned and founded on the spirit of reconciliation and forgiveness. But such sinister efforts are being orchestrated by the communal Government of Manipur (GoM) to divide the tribal communities in Manipur further so that the hegemony of the GoM can be perpetuated. The GoM has gone beyond the sponsorship of the June 18 commemoration to allow a rally that opposes any peaceful and honourable settlement of the Indo-Naga issue. Read Full @ goo.gl/m6ByB4
