UNDERSTANDING THE COMMUNION (THE LORDS SUPPER) Then they that gladly received his (Peters) word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. And they continued stedfastly in the apostles doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles. And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved. I received revelation from the Lord as to why we are not seeing the miracles and the soul winning that the apostles saw in their day. We are not teaching the benefits of the Lord Supper, nor are we understanding and utilizing the power that comes from taking Communion daily (or more often than once a month on first sundays). The Lord began to teach me how Communion should be done to receive the benefits from it. We have people including the pastors who from week to week and month to month are experiencing sickness, depression, battling cancer and various diseases and some are dying early because they do not discern the Body of Christ. Traditions makes the Word of God void, Jesus told us that. And we cant continue to do the same thing and expect different results. ALSO, the ministers must stop speaking untruths concerning the Body of Jesus Christ. HIS BODY WAS NEVER BROKEN FOR US!!!!! He was bruised and marred (not beyond human recognition) but none of His bones was broken. So please dont say any more when you are serving Communion that HIS BODY WAS BROKEN FOR US because this is just not true! Jesus broke the bread to pass it to His disciples and He said (as recorded in 1Corinthians 11:24) This is My Body which is broken for you meaning IM BREAKING THIS BREAD SO ALL OF YOU MAY HAVE A PIECE. But we know that scripture tells us that none of His bones were broken (Psalm 34:20; John 19:36). So lets stop getting it twisted; I say that in all due respect. The best way I can teach this here is to give it to you the way the Lord has shown me to take the Lords Supper; so here it is: Before I do the 5 steps below: I (self-judge) search myself whether I have unrepented sin or transgression, unclean feelings (bitterness, anger, resentment, lust, etc.) or disobedience; and I make sure no work of the flesh has not been dealt with so that I am in right standing with the Lord to partake of His Body. Then I sing and worship Him as I go before His table to partake. 1) I began by reading aloud the Words of Jesus in John 6 which explains the benefits of eating His Flesh and drinking His Blood. 32: Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from Heaven; but My Father giveth you the true Bread from Heaven. 33: For the Bread of God is He which cometh down from Heaven, and giveth life unto the world. 35: And Jesus said unto them, I am the Bread of Life: he that cometh to Me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on Me shall never thirst. 36: But I said unto you, That ye also have seen Me, and believe not. 37: All that the Father giveth Me shall come to Me; and him that cometh to Me I will in no wise cast out. 38: For I came down from Heaven, not to do Mine own Will, but the Will of Him that sent Me. 39: And this is the Fathers Will which hath sent Me, that of all which He hath given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. 40: And this is the Will of Him that sent Me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on Him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. 43: Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves. 44: No man can come to Me, except the Father which hath sent Me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. 45: It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto Me. 46: Not that any man hath seen the Father, save He which is of God, He hath seen the Father. 47: Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on Me hath everlasting life. 48: I am that Bread of Life. 49: Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead. 50: This is the Bread which cometh down from Heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. 51: I am the Living Bread which came down from Heaven: if any man eat of this Bread, he shall live for ever: and the Bread that I will give is My Flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. 53: Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the Flesh of the Son of man, and drink His Blood, ye have no life in you. 54: Whoso eateth My Flesh, and drinketh My Blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. 55: For My Flesh is meat indeed, and My Blood is drink indeed. 56: He that eateth My Flesh, and drinketh My Blood, dwelleth in Me, and I in him. 57: As the Living Father hath sent Me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth Me, even he shall live by Me. 58: This is that Bread which came down from Heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this Bread shall live for ever. 59: These things said He in the synagogue, as He taught in Capernaum. 2) I take Communion using the Communion scriptures in Mark 14:22-24 3) I pray Psalm 103 in its entirety. 4) Then I make my request using Jeremiah 17:14; Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for Thou art my praise. 5) Then I end in praise and thanksgiving believing that no weapon formed against me shall prosper and I have divine health. The Lord told me that when I follow His instructions in taking the Lord Supper this way that He would be growing stronger in me here on Earth and in Heaven, I grow up in Him. I hope this will encourage all of you to seek the Lord concerning His Will for the taking of the Lord Supper and break from the lifeless tradition that we have kept over the years.
