UNDERSTANDING THE MONTH: The 2nd month of the year was mentioned in the bible 14 times, pointing out great events that took place. 1. It was in the 2nd month that God destroy the earth with rain Gen7:11 & the water dried in the 2nd month Gen8:14 2. It is the month for the remembrance of the passover & its celebration Num9:12 3. It also the month which Solomon layed the foundation of Gods temple 1kg6:1-2 note: these event didnt happen coincidentally, even after they came back from exile in Ezra3:8-10. They started rebuilding the temple on the second month. This month is a special one. It is a month of freedom and rebuilding of Gods temple. 1cor6:19 says .... Your body is the temple of the holy spirit.... we need to rebuild Gods temple (our body) with strong bricks from Gods word and keep it clean from dirts which will defile it. I Dont know about you? But this is my month of celebration of freedom over failure, sickness,etc and building a wall of fire over me and my family. Happy new month
