UNFAIR ALLOCATION OF ROOMS AT UNZA Allow me to express my displeasure at the allocation of rooms at UNZA. Sometimes I sit down and wonder, does it mean that for us to have a good life in this World we have to know someone who is well known? When I came at UNZA as a fresher I was so excited about it,but as time went by,my joy quickly faded as the rampant corruption at DOSA(Dean Of Students,the people assigned with the responsibility of allocating rooms) was just too much for me to bear. In first year,I was among the top 30 on the waiting list of those promised to get a room the following year,yet here I am, now in my fourth year and still havent been given a room,and am now a senior squatter. Yet most of my peers who were not even on the Top 100 were given rooms,why? Because most of them are connected to high officials or had the money to bribe DOSA,while some of us coming from poor families are left to suffer. Sometimes I feel it was better if we didnt even have to apply for rooms or be on the waiting list because its just a share waste of time,because the normal procedure is never followed,yes I know it impossible for everyone to be accommodated but it would have been fair if the right procedure is followed.Come to UNZA today,you will find that there are many vacant bedspaces waiting to be sold by DOSA instead of giving them to the students out there!!! Hence, I am begging you ba Watchdog to please carry out an investigation and expose these corrupt bastards at DOSA who are busy buying cars from corrupt money because its like our union leaders can not help us though we keep on paying union fees,its like they are also busy buying expensive suits and getting fat.
