UNIVERSITY MAY HAVE TO REIMBURSE GOVT P1M Private tertiary institution, ABM University, may have to reimburse government close to a million Pula after it admitted students who were not qualified to study an engineering course. This was discovered by Tertiary Education Council, which says the institution made an error in admitting the students for the computer course. Government had paid for their tuition fees and other allowances. TEC also says it found that some of institutions are not qualified to offer certain courses. Director at Tertiary Education Financing, Marcus Maedza, says schools are required refund government in case they do not meet regulations.
