UNRESPONSIVE - UNRELIABLE - WORST VALUE / THE POWER TO SURPRISE AND DISAPPOINT I have had a very stressful day, having had to fight with KIA / TATA SA s Service Centre, Edenvale, both on the phone and via e-mails, as to providing me with the actual itemised cost of repairs to my car, as well as then finding out @ 16h30 today that, after TWO FULL DAYS, they still have not managed to replace the clutch as yet (their excuse - we were waiting for parts) - puzzling as TATA SAs Head Office is situated about a kilometre away from them. I have now had to make last-minute plans to hire a car tomorrow, so that I can go to Midrand & do training for a client, plus I also have to get up at 05h00 tomorrow ,so that I can be dropped off at the airport @ 06h00 to get the hire car, then there is the logistical nightmare of getting back from Midrand in time to get my car back, then take the hire car back to the airport as well, and get picked up again so I can get back home! I have already emailed TATAs Regional Service Manager to request that they reimburse me for the hire car & petrol used during the trip to Midrand & back! It is a real shame that such apathetic and abysmal customer service from a major service centre has soured me forever towards TATA as a brand in South Africa, seeing that the car itself has been very reliable over the last 59,000 kms that I have owned it, only having had its recommended services @ 15,000 km intervals, and apart from replacing wear & tear items like a battery and recently fitting new tyres & brake pads, has never let me down or left me stranded on a busy highway.
