..UNSTABLE WATERS! When filling a bucket with water, the water from the tap flows into the bucket with a gurgling sound; but when it is turned off, it becomes calm and still. If any sound is detected again at this point; then, you know there is a cause! Its either someone hit the bucket unknowingly or an object or insect fell/jumped into the bucket; isnt it? Then, you take out the object and prevent anything that could give any gurgling sound and cause it to be unstable. So many relationships today, even godly ones are unstable. This is caused by so many reasons: Confusion, Distraction from another man/woman, Bad character, Nagging/Non-submissive woman, Prayerlessness, Pride, Ego etc. The fact that God has led one into a relationship, does not exempt him/her from actively playing his/her roles diligently. But many are so lazy to work on themselves and make a change! Some feel since they are in a godly relationship, their partner should be an angel; Lie!!! You need to wake up from your world of fantasies and work out that courtship into marriage! Youve got a role to play! To we sisters, we should be pillars and not caterpillars! A wise and submissive woman can get her fiancé/husband to do anything; but a proud, nagging woman will only create a gap or tear apart her home. Use of words are very important! Lets learn how and when to bring up conversations, and the approach to use even when our partner has done something wrong! Proverbs 14:1 says: Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands. And to our brothers, be humble enough to apologise when wrong! Theres nothing like; I am a man; thereby using it as an excuse to do wrong! Remember, no excuse before God. Do the needful, Do the right things! Love her as Christ commands! Proverbs 16:5: Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished. My dear brothers/sisters, God has given us all the constructive tools we need to build our homes, lets make use of them. Though, the devil has also made provision for the destructive tools to pull down homes, lets not patronise him. We must be aware that a relationship/marriage that is instituted by God seems to be the devils target; thats why we must be ready to do our part so as to gain the victory always! Godly, Happy marriages still exist and GOD IS STILL THE PERFECT MATCH-MAKER! Be determined to let that godly relationship/marriage WORK! Lets not forget the place of prayers and godly characters; Lets God be our Director and do as He instructs! Calm the unstable waters by turning off the running taps NOW!
