UO peeps, did you get this email and then facepalm immediately? At about 1:40 a.m., the male student was walking southeast through Pioneer Cemetery nearing 18th Avenue and University Street when he noticed a group of six young men following him. He was then struck from behind and knocked down, and then struck several times in the face and head as two of the assailants demanded his wallet and valuables. The suspects were described as white males wearing dark clothing, with the lead assailant being about 5-foot-10 with a medium build and long blond hair, in his early 20s. The suspects fled north with the victims wallet and cell phone. I feel horrible for the guy and this shouldnt have happened, but really? 2am alone in a cemetery? Really?
