UPDATE: 8/20/13 Tuesday - Our car got soaked and mud and water inside and is being literally taken apart inside to clean it as I type this and the battery was removed last night as the lights went on and would not go off and after it is cleaned inside we will see what has to be done to the car and if and what needs repair. There was no time to find higher ground and not much higher ground around her anyway. Bert who lives downstairs takes better care of our car than we do and is doing the work on it now. He is a God Sent. Got a ride to the grocery store today and there is a possibility that we will get the same type of weather for a couple or three days again and we are hoping that it does not happen but will have to wait and see. The downstairs is water free and cleaned and disinfected and the people moved back in that were upstairs with us. We all took it in stride and still had fun with each other. We are blessed to have this Filipino take us as their family. Have to have someone check the wiring so I am typing while I can on the computer and will keep you informed when I can. So far all is well with the electricity but it has to been checked on one area of the house and we have water and got drinking water delivered today and have wonderful friends here that we can depend on. How blessed we are. Another adventure in the roller coaster of life and I will not ride it screaming and yelling but laughing at it all the way. I can now add to my list of weather experiences I survived - Floods, next to tornadoes, ice storms, snow storms, mini earthquakes, hurricanes, tidal waves and having to evacuate in Florida, & wind storms. We are still here in spite of it all. Rain is starting up just now. Love & Hugs to you my Friends. Thank you for your concern.
